Digital Mixing Software for PC - Some Tips

By Albert McGayle

The first step is to do some research and choose the DJ software that you want to use. Once you have done that, you need a computer. It is not necessary to have the latest and the fastest CPU. You will be fine employing a CPU with a 1.2 ghz processor.

Hard drive memory capacity is essential here. You require a lot of capacity as you have to store thousands of tracks. Your hard disk must be a big one and be able to store more than 120 GB of tracks. The more storage it has, the better it is for you.

Good sound is significant for a DJ master. So you should have a high quality sound card. External cards function without any trouble and are mostly solid too. But you should use one that is good and examine it properly to check whether it runs fine.

So if you are preparing to build a PCDJ, you should employ a computer or laptop exclusively for this function. Do not use the same computer for private use other than for operating the digital DJ software.

If you already have a PC that you intend to use for this, you should discontinue the other programs and reformat the computer before setting up the Digital DJ Software.

Tracks on a cdrom have to be ripped so as to convert them to MP3 format to store them in your computer. You should hold the ripping quality to be large so that the quality is good.

PCDJ software does not ask you to have the greatest configuration in your computer but you should know the minimal requirements that are listed on the developer's website. You can also see various free trial software.

Your computer's computer memory should be at least 512 MB for the PCDJ to go fine. You should have a storage capacity that is huge enough to store 1000s of tracks without any trouble. Also, you should make sure there are no legal limitations on ripping music. - 33366
